Things I’ve learned as a 17-year-old business owner – Part 2: How AI helps me run my business
Before I started using AI, writing anything took hours. I use an adaptive joystick to type, and while it works, it’s slow. I used to get really tired just trying to write a simple product description or a message to a customer.
Now I use AI to help me write faster and easier. I still come up with the ideas and what I want to say, but AI helps me put it into words. It saves me time and energy. It means I can focus on designing, printing, and packing orders — the parts I enjoy the most.
AI is such a great tool for people with disabilities. It gives me more independence. I don’t have to ask for help as much, and I can keep up with everything better.
I’d like to give a special shout out to my grandmother, Sue Dahl, who introduced me to this amazing tool. If it wasn’t for her, I might not have found it. She always looks out for me and believes in what I’m doing.
I’ll keep sharing more things I’ve learned soon.
Thanks for reading.
